Objective Quality Analysis
- Automatic quality scoring — every frame is measured for star sharpness, roundness, background sky brightness, and star count, so you're not eyeballing hundreds of subs one by one.
- Judged against your own data — frames are compared to the rest of that target's collected data — typically spanning several nights — rather than a fixed universal standard. A wider pool gives the statistics something real to judge against, so one thin night doesn't get unfairly flagged, and a truly bad night stands out clearly against everything else you've gathered on that target.
- Conservative by default — only clear outliers get flagged; borderline frames are left for you or your stacking software to weigh, not silently thrown away.
- Know why a frame was rejected — each rejected frame is labeled by cause — optical (focus/tracking), transparency (thin cloud), or sky brightness (moon/light pollution) — so you can see if a night has a pattern worth fixing.
- Visual quality graph — plot any two metrics across the whole session, click a point to jump straight to that frame.
- Sortable results table — every frame's metrics side by side, so the worst offenders are obvious at a glance.
- Override any call — flip a frame from reject to keep (or back) before committing, no re-running the analysis required.
